When you seek care through Maple, these services are billed privately. Therefore, your family doctor will not be impacted.
Do you become my family doctor?
While Maple can provide convenient access to medical advice and treatment, it's not intended to replace the ongoing care of a family physician. In fact, Maple can be a valuable tool for managing urgent or after-hours primary acute care needs when you can't get in to see your family doctor.
What happens if I require a referral?
A Maple doctor can refer you to a specialist if they deem it medically necessary.
